My Panty Box! & en español!

Hello everyone! I can't believe October is almost over!!! Only 3 months til 2013! wow! This year has been quite different for me, full of challenges and great discoveries, one thing I started doing this year was trying beauty boxes and blogging about it! 

Hola a todas! No puedo creer que Octubre ya se termina!!! Solo faltan 3 meses para llegar al 2013! wow! Este año ha sido muy distinto para mi, lleno de desafíos y grandes descubrimientos, algo que empecé a hacer este año fue probar servicios de envío de muestras de belleza y demas, y escribir acerca de ellos.

Tonight I want to tell you about a new service I am trying out (thanks to an awesome blogger http://therosysnail.com/), the service is called MyPantyBox (you can learn more about it here).

So what is MyPantyBox? It's nothing more and nothing less than a cute pair of undies, picked specifically for you, in your mailbox every month! 

Que es entonces MyPantyBox? Nada más y nada menos que una linda braguita (o calzoncito), elegido especialmente para ti, en tu buzón de correo cada mes!

Now, don't worry, nobody knows what's in the package except for you. This is how they mail it, in a very discrete padded envelope. It comes all the way from Spain, and they ship worldwide. Mine took about 2 weeks to get here, I am in the Midwest. 

Ahora, no hay de qué preocuparse ni avergonzarse, nadie sabe que viene en el paquete, solo tú. Lo envían así, en un sobre acolchado muy discreto. Viene desde España, y hacen envios alrededor del mundo, a todos los países. El mío tardó o solo 2 semanas, y yo vivo en el medio de Estados Unidos.

Back to the panties, when I was placing my order online, I was hesitant about them getting the size right, it seems they are genius and have thought of that as well. They offer sizes from Extra Small to 4 Extra Large, and they have a handy dandy size chart.

Bueno, de vuelta a los calzoncitos, cuando estaba ordenando en línea  estaba nerviosa porque no sabía si me iban a mandar la talla correcta, al parecer son genios y pensaron en este tema. Ofrecen tallas desde Extra Small hasta 4 Extra Large, y tienen una muy conveniente tabla de medidas y peso.

Now, I am all about the details and in this case I love, love, love every little detail,; especially the fact that they used a safety pin to attach the little tag/card. I can't tell you how many pairs of undies and clothes in general I have ruined by pulling on those plastic things that hold the tag in place and make a whole in the fabric! I hate those things with a passion!!!

Ahora, yo me fijo mucho en los detalles, y en este caso amo, amo, amo cada pequeño detalle; especialmente el hecho que usan un imperdible para sujetar la tarjetita/etiqueta. No se imaginan cuantos calzoncitos y ropa en general he arruinado jalando y arrancando esos pedazos de plástico que otros usan para sujetar la etiqueta y le hacen hueco a la tela! Odio esos plasticos!!!

I must confess, while I love new underwear, I do not enjoy shopping for it. I do not enjoy digging through a bin with everyone watching me and touching the same panties I am about to buy (I bet you never thought of it that way huh?, I know, gross!)

From what I can see, the quality is very comparable to what you would find at VS, or any other lingerie store; I despise VS's customer service, I don't know if it's just my luck, but whenever I go into one of their stores I seem to get the "not so helpful" salespeople...

OMG!!! ipsy October Bag: I love you!!!!

I took two finals today, yes on a Saturday, don't ask me how they went because one of them was "Statistics"... I'm just clearing that up so you understand when I tell you my brain is fried today and I am under the influence of as much caffeine as you can imagine! 

Yes, October's ipsy/MyGlam bag! the reason you are reading this post!!! OMG I loooooooooooooove this bag!!!! I have been pleased before but this one is just unbelievable!!! I had seen the sneak peeks and pictures from other people posting their bags and I am still smiling like a little kid because everything is perfect and amazing!

Lip Bomb 4 - Glossy Laquer Stain by mirenesse (3.1g/0.11oz retails for $31.20 on sale, regular $39)

I tried getting a close up of the color, to me it's like a mauve color with pink undertones. I put it on and I like it so far, this is a hybrid product; it has the power of a lip stain and while it applies creamy it is not sticky like lip gloss! It doesn't taste or smell funny which is important to me :) No flavor I would say and the smell is kinda minty :)

What's Your Type "The Body Builder" - Black Mascara by theBalm (10ml size retails for $19, I received a mini 3.5oz). I am a mascara junkie! but who isn't? hahaha I'm sure this will be a great product! and i love mini mascaras and mini make up items in general because I can fit more products in those tiny bags you can take when you travel!

Pequi Oil Treatment by Couture Colour (0.5 fl oz/15 ml retails for $12). I am all about packaging and this is genius!!! Most oils get messy because they have weird caps, check this one out:

I have been *dying* to a try thick pen style eyeliner like this one, I've been eyeing the NYX Super FAT Eye Marker for a long long time but it retails for $10 so I never bought it... this looks just like it to me so I am super excited!!! and I got the whole bag for $10!!!!

I honestly feel like these $10 well spent as far as beauty bags go! Also all the brands in the bag are offering killer deals if you buy more of their products, from 15% off to $20 off!!! 

Now I gotta run, technically I should be getting ready hahaha but I couldn't wait to show you!!! I am using everything I got in this bag tonight! I'm going to dinner with my bf and if I hurry up we might make it to Sephora "just to look" :)

The Girl With The Golden Nails!

Hope you are all doing great! Tonight I want to show you OPI's "The Man With The Golden Gun" Oh am I excited about this one!!! Here is the final product, let me tell you how I got there!

Last night I cut my nails all the way down just because I was ready for a fresh start :) I used 2 Color Club polishes I got in my Birchbox in the last few months, the gold is called "Disco Nap" and the blue is called "Insta-This". I used butte LONDON Matte Finish Top Coat over the blue and I like the way it turned out :)

But today, I finally got my hands on this bottle of awesomeness!!!! OPI's "The Man With The Golden Gun" This is what I had seen online:

This is one coat of TMWTGG on a nail wheel:

I put 2 coats of TMWTGG over my existing manicure, it doesn't really do much over the gold but I love it over the blue!!!

This Top Coat is retailing for about $30, am I happy I bought it? Absolutely! Sometimes you have to splurge! If nothing else you can always put it on your wishlist, Christmas is right around the corner :)

HK Girl, OPI The Living Daylights and more...

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I wanted to share my last manicure and a top coat I am absolutely in love with! Since I started blogging I feel like I've entered a very special world, and I have gotten to experience so many great products I didn't know existed! 

Lots of ladies I chat with online, rave about HK Girl Fast Drying & Super Shiny Clear Top Coat, I had to try it and oh boy! I'm so glad I did, this top coat is super fast drying, shiny and amazing!!! I used 2 coats on this mani, it looks great and it feels super smooth, I really put it to the test with this crazy glitter!!! The only con I could find is that the smell is a bit strong but it goes away as soon as the top coat is dry, which happens crazy fast!

You can purchase it here for less than $7!!! I will definitely keep using HK Girl :) I believe there is a bigger bottle available as well.

I picked the base colors inspired on the glitter colors in "The Living Daylights". It's a beautiful clear glitter with gtold, silver, turquoise and orange glitter!!! Ahhhh!!! I love it!!! Easy to apply and no digging required!!!
